Approximately 34x24mm (about 1.3 inches long). Glass, with the hole drilled the long way. These are faceted so they sparkle in the light :-)

All glass beads may have minor surface scratches from shipment. They can be buffed with a soft towel, soap, and water but some light scratches may still remain.
